Dual-band Wi-Fi refers to a router’s ability to transmit signals on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. The omnidirectional dual-band wifi antennas offer the 2400- 2483 MHz and 5150- 5850 MHz frequency range with many different lengths for selection.

In these locations, with hundreds of people using Wi-Fi simultaneously, relying solely on the 2.4 GHz band would cause severe congestion, whilst using only the 5 GHz band would result in incomplete coverage.
When paired with enterprise-grade access points (APs), dual-band wifi antennas can dynamically allocate connections: users in proximity connect to the 5 GHz band for high-speed internet, whilst those further away connect to the 2.4 GHz band to ensure coverage.
