The high-performance RF absorber foams are radar-absorbent materials supplied by C&T RF Antennas Inc., used for microwave absorber anechoic chambers, etc.
RF Absorber Foam materials play a crucial role by minimizing radar wave reflection, thus reducing object radar signatures. RF Absorbers work by allowing the wave to penetrate a region where the electric and/or magnetic fields experience loss.
Besides the High-Performance RF Absorber Foams, Pyramidal Radiation-absorbent Materials are also available at C&T RF Antennas Inc.
Main components of RF absorber foam materials: foam (polyurethane), carbon black powder, graphite powder, etc.
Applications: shielding enclosures, anechoic chambers, and EMC shielded rooms.
Function: Absorbs and shields electromagnetic waves, electronic communications, and various types of noise.
Product features: Excellent shielding performance, heat resistance, high flame retardancy, and easy installation.

Introduction to Flat RF Absorber Sheet Materials
RF absorber foam materials are solid foam absorbers that exhibit excellent broadband absorption performance under both perpendicular and oblique electromagnetic wave incidence. They are widely used in various applications, including microwave anechoic chambers, radar compartments, the interiors of antenna systems, turntables, and test stands, to shield the inner walls of test chambers, improve antenna performance, and eliminate unnecessary reflective interference.
RF absorber foam materials are cut from polyurethane foam using computer-controlled contour cutting machines, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing structure, precise dimensions, and no dust shedding or moisture-induced discoloration.
RF absorber foam materials are available in a complete range of specifications to meet the requirements of different types of anechoic chambers and test chambers. Special materials are also available for specific areas such as corners, ventilation openings, and lighting fixtures to address unique application needs.
The flame-retardant performance of flat-panel absorbers meets the national Class B2 material standard, with an oxygen index of ≥28%, satisfying the requirements of the NRL8093 test standard.
RF absorber foams are manufactured using specially designed production equipment and strict process controls to ensure product consistency, stability, and reliability, thereby guaranteeing the performance requirements of the entire anechoic chamber.
