The high-performance Pyramidal radiation-absorbent materials are Radar-Absorbing Material (RAM) with Pyramidal shape, which are designed to attenuate and dissipate incident radio frequency (RF) radiation rather than reflecting it, supplied by C&T RF Antennas Inc.
By converting electromagnetic energy into low-level heat, RF absorbing material minimizes an object’s radar cross-section (RCS) for military stealth or creates “quiet zones” in engineering labs.

RF Absorber materials are solid foam absorbers that exhibit excellent broadband absorption performance under both perpendicular and oblique electromagnetic wave incidence, and are widely used in various microwave anechoic chambers.
Polyurethane foam pyramids are cut using computer-controlled contour cutting machines, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing structure with precise dimensions. There is no dust shedding, and the material does not absorb moisture or discolor.
The RF absorbing material is available in a full range of specifications to meet the requirements of different types of anechoic chambers and anechoic boxes. Special materials are also available for specific areas such as corners, ventilation openings, and lighting fixtures to address unique application needs.
Flame-retardant performance meets the requirements of the national Class B2 material standard, with an oxygen index of ≥28%, satisfying the NRL8093 test standard. Specially designed and manufactured production equipment, combined with strict process control, ensures the consistency, stability, and reliability of product performance, thereby guaranteeing the performance requirements of the entire anechoic chamber.

Pyramidal radiation-absorbent material of varying densities is selected based on the height of the corner cones. Through processes such as foaming, curing, contouring, impregnation, drying, and surface treatment, these materials are designed to attenuate the reflection of high-frequency surface waves with high angles of incidence.
The RF absorber Pyramidal materials offer excellent performance for both vertical and oblique incidence, effectively eliminating interference from test environment noise and improving test accuracy.
The cones are neatly arranged, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to install. They offer excellent electrical properties and are available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. Customization is available to meet specific customer requirements. The material is flame-retardant, pressure-resistant, flexible, and highly resilient. It is halogen-free and lead-free, and complies with the RoHS Directive.

The Pyramidal RF absorbent material offers excellent environmental performance. All raw materials meet environmental requirements, and the primary chemical components are non-toxic. Additionally, it utilizes an advanced formulation of inorganic flame retardants that are non-volatile, odorless, and non-toxic, with stable flame-retardant performance that does not degrade over long-term use.
Pyramidal radiation-absorbent materials are extremely flexible and easy to cut. Specialized two-dimensional custom panels and transition pieces are available to accommodate specific areas within an anechoic chamber, such as corners, ventilation openings, lighting fixtures, shielded doors, floors, and turntables, making installation very straightforward.
The installation process generates no toxic or harmful gases or dust, effectively safeguarding the working environment of the anechoic chamber. The facility can be put into use shortly after installation is complete.
